Manifest OS — An AI-Native Operating System for Immigration Law
Manifest OS is a case management platform built for immigration law firms — from the ground up. I led design across the full system: information architecture, core workflows, AI-powered tools, and the design system that ties it all together.

Problem
Did you know paralegals spend 40% of their time on work that never appears in a legal filing?
Every immigration case runs on documents — 30+ files per case, each one manually named, sorted, and re-entered across multiple government forms. Repetitive enough to automate. Consequential enough that a single error has legal implications.

Solution
Redesigning How a Law Firm Operates
Manifest needed more than new features — it needed a new way of working. I partnered with the legal ops team to map existing workflows, identify where time was lost, and rebuild the system around how attorneys and paralegals actually work.
From document intake to case filing, every workflow was redesigned to eliminate redundant steps. AI handles the repetitive — classification, drafting, data entry across forms. The legal team handles the consequential — review, judgment, and every output that leaves the platform.

Before redesigning the system, we mapped how the firm actually worked. Card sorting sessions and IA mapping conducted with 4 attorneys and 2 paralegals across varying levels of seniority and case specialization.
Impact
Attorney and paralegals shifted from data entry to verification. Spending more time on casework, less on file management.
