I was born and raised in Korea, and later moved to the U.S. to pursue my passion for design. I graduated with a BFA in Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I built a strong foundation in visual storytelling and design systems.

With a background in visual design, I bring expertise in color theory, typography, and accessibility to ensure best-in-class UI practices. But I’m not just focused on surface-level polish—I think holistically about long-term product strategy and how design can drive business and user impact.

I’ve spent the last few years designing both B2B and B2C products in the healthcare industry, collaborating with partners like the Gates Foundation, McGill University Children’s Hospital, AbbVie, and Anthem. Many of these projects involved complex systems where hardware and software are deeply integrated. My work has focused on understanding both clinician and patient workflow, identifying real pain points in clinical settings, and solving those challenges through thoughtful design.

Now, I’m excited to bring both strategic thinking and craft excellence to a new team.
